Friends of the two Falmouth Police officers who were shot last month responding to a disturbance on Ashley Drive have set up GoFundMe pages for the men.
Officers Ryan Moore and Don DeMiranda both survived the shooting.
DeMiranda was shot twice. Once in the chest, but the bullet was stopped by his vest. A second bullet hit him in the shoulder area. He had surgery last week to remove the bullet.
A bullet grazed Moore’s neck. He was treated the night of the shooting and released.
The man accused of shooting them, Malik Koval, is recovering in a Boston hospital. He was shot several times by officers in the incident.
Koval was arraigned last week and is being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing.
Two others, Marcus Maseda, 18, and Kimberly Koval, 38, are also charged with interfering with officers as they arrived.
The two face charges with obstruction of justice, assault and battery on a police officer and interfering with the duties of a police officer.
