First Barnstable District State Representative, Tim Whelan, has received the endorsement of his re-election from the Massachusetts Correction Officers Federated Union (MCOFU). That organization represents more than 4,800 employees serving in both state and county Correctional Institutions.
Whelan is serving in his second term as State Rep. His Committee assignments include serving on the House Committee on Ways & Means, Joint Committee on Public Service (Ranking member), and Joint Committee on Higher Education.
He was recently recognized by MCOFU with their "Representative of the Year" award at their annual retirement dinner in Milford.
