We are barely halfway through June but already, one organization on Cape Cod is thinking about Christmas; Christmas in July.
Each year, the Duffy Health Center collects items to help the homeless stay safe in the heat of the summer months and this year’s “Christmas in July” drive is underway.
Donations of sunscreen, bug spray, hats, toiletry items and dry snacks like granola bars are welcome and needed. Items can be dropped off through Friday, June 29, at Duffy Health Center, 94 Main Street, Hyannis, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
If you don’t have time to shop but would like to help out, cash donations are also accepted. Checks can be made out to Duffy Heath Center and be mailed or dropped off as well.
