A recent study by a Sandwich consulting firm seems to clear a path for a future housing development in Mashpee.
The Mashpee Enterprise reports that the firm, Horsley Witten, has concluded that a site at 950 Falmouth Road could support a development and offered two scenarios; seven townhouse buildings or three apartment buildings. Horsley Witten says the site could accommodate as many as 69 bedrooms for either plan.
The study has been endorsed by the Mashpee Affordable Housing Trust which has recommended to release a request for proposals on the project.
