First Barnstable District Race Gets More Crowded

State Representative Tim Whelan has another challenger for his office.
Brewster Democrat Steven Leibowitz, a former school committee member, is running for the First Barnstable District seat.
Two other candidates, an independent and a democrat, have also announced they are running.
Whelan, a Republican, took office in 2015.
