Bourne Police have issued this alert: Access to Wareham from the West Rotary (end of Main St/Bypass) is CLOSED due to a building, Continental Marina, collapsing on Cranberry Hwy. Use RTE 25 or Head of the Bay Rd.
Other roads that are still inaccessible: Scraggy Neck Rd, Wings Neck Rd, Emmons Rd, Circuit Ave, Bournedale Rd
The Orleans Police department, on its Facebook page, said Briar Spring road remains blocked because of a tree down. There is a detour around the problem area by Shore Road and Uncle Harvey’s Way.
There are also many intersections around the Cape and Vineyard where the traffic lights are not functioning. Police say to treat those intersections as if they were 4-way stop signs before proceeding.
