TRUMP OFF SCRIPT: The President RUNS to Greet Police Officers in NY
President Trump took a brief break from his jam-packed schedule while visiting Long Island, New York this week; jogging over to greet members of law enforcement lined-up to protect the Commander-in-Chief.
The President was visiting his home state to discuss local authorities’ response to the violent MS-13 street gang; hosting a round-table meeting that focused on eliminating the vicious cartel from local communities.
Shortly after the meeting, Trump unexpectedly jogged over to thank the police, shaking each officer’s hand before rushing back to board Marine One.

The President thrust the issue of MS-13 back into the national headlines last week, slamming the gang members as “animals” and vowing to crackdown on the cartel and deport those residing in the United States illegally.
