There is a great local event coming up on Sunday, August 25th on the Hyannis Village Green, right on Main St. It’s the 2nd Annual Quahog Festival!
It goes from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and it’s being put on once again by the Hyannis Rotary! There will be a lot of great food, music and craft tents on hand.
And this year, they’re making it is a sustainability-focused event, working with the non-profit group, Sustainable Practices.
So for this episode of Spectrum, Kevin Matthews welcomed the chairman of the 2nd Annual Hyannis Rotary Quahog Festival, Bob Bourque, into the studio to talk a little more about this year’s event and to find out what their "sustainability-focus" means.
