Firefighters were busy on the Cape this weekend.
A house fire in Truro killed a family dog Saturday afternoon.
The state fire marshal is investigating that blaze that happened at a residence on Bay View Drive.
Also on Sunday afternoon oneĀ personĀ was taken to the hospital afterĀ a fire at a single-family home on Waquoit highway in Falmouth.
And a large brush fire approached the back of Ryan Family Amusements on Route 28 in Yarmouth on Saturday, but was extinguished before it actually extended to the business.
