Mass DOT/Tree Trimming On Route 6

Crews with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation will be performing vegetation, tree trimming and removal of hazardous tree operations in the median adjacent to the Route Six westbound high speed lane, between exits 6 and 4, on Monday, January 14th.
The work is anticipated to continue for approximately 15 days and will be done between 9 A.M. and 3 P.M. Monday through Friday.
The roadway will be limited to one lane of travel to accommodate larger pieces of equipment needed for the work and travel lanes will be shut down as necessary.
Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed and use caution.
All work is weather dependent and/or may be impacted due to an emergency situation.
