Barnstable H.S. Students/New Laptops
Barnstable School Superintendent Meg Mayo-Brown has announced that every Barnstable High School student will begin the new year with a new Chromebook Laptop Computer.
Mayo-Brown says a survey shows that nearly 90% of the students have internet access at home and the laptops will be a teaching benefit for both students and teachers alike.
Families are required to buy a $15 insurance plan for each device and students must remember to bring the laptops to school and keep them charged.
Meetings will be setup in the next week or two for parents and students so they can be trained to use the devices.
