- It’s Halloween and later this afternoon and evening kids of all ages will be roaming neighborhoods dressed in outrageous and clever costumes in search of a treat to celebrate Halloween.
- Police Departments across the Cape have safety tips to make this a fun night including: stay in your own neighborhood and only visit homes you know, wear light colored clothing, make sure kids can see through face masks or use makeup instead, only give and accept wrapped candy and adults should always accompany their children.
- There are many special events this Halloween night...........to name just a few, there will be a safe Halloween Trick or Treat on Main Street, Hyannis from 4 to 6, a parade on Main Street in Osterville from 4 to 5, and the annual Dennis Village Hootenanny starts at 5:15 with food, music, candy and a parade.
- There will also be “Trunk or Treat” Festivals at St.Pius Church on Station Avenue in South Yarmouth from 5:30 to 7, Cape Cod Church on 1205 Nathan Ellis Highway ( Route 151 ) in East Falmouth from 5:30 to 8, and the annual Trunk or Treat Festival for the four lower cape towns of Orleans, Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro at the Wellfleet Drive-In from 4 to 7.
