The Town of Wellfleet will be hosting a session for members of the community, and other interested individuals, to assist those who may be dealing with the aftereffects of the emotional stress and trauma related to the September shark attack that left a man dead.
26 year old Arthur Medici of Revere was attacked by a Great White Shark as he was Boogie Boarding off of Newcomb Hollow Beach. He died at Cape Cod Hospital.
The Wellfleet session will be led by Dr. Peter Levine who has spent 45 years studying and treating stress and trauma.
The session will take place on Friday, October 12th at 5 p.m. in the Wellfleet Senior Center and is open, free of charge, to all individuals who feel they may benefit from Dr. Levine’s expertise and experience.
