Plymouth County D.A./Federal Grant

The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office has been awarded a federal grant that will enhance the office’s efforts to reach drug endangered children.
The more than 541-thousand dollar grant comes from the U.S. Department of Justice Office for victims of crime and will address an urgent gap in crime victim services related to the opioid epidemic.
The money will also be used to expand upon existing or to establish new programs to provide services to youth who are victimized as a result of the opioid crisis.
D.A. Timothy Cruz’s Office will use the critical funds to train law enforcement, schools and community partners on identifying drug endangered children and developing the proper trauma sensitive response.
