Affordable Housing/Playground Grant
9/19/18
The Boston-based “Preservation of Affordable Housing” or “POAH” has received a 15-thousand dollar “Let’s Play” community construction grant from Keurig Doctor Pepper (KDP) and the national non-profit Kaboom! to build a new playground at POAH’s Cromwell Court Apartments, 124–unit family affordable housing development, on Barnstable Road in Hyannis.
KDP’s “Let’s Play” initiative provides funding, equipment and play spaces to help families and children make active play a daily priority.
The grant will be used to replace an older playground with a brand new play structure designed to meet the needs of the more than 100 children who live in Cromwell Court.
