Harwich PD/Fatal Motorcycle Crash

Harwich Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident Tuesday night at the corner of Walker Woods Drive and Spruce Road.
Reports indicate that Christopher Butilier of Brewster was driving the motorcycle, went off the road and crashed into a tree.
Rescuers found Butilier about 10 feet in the woods. He was responsive to first responders, but had sustained severe injuries. A medflight helicopter was called to take him to an off Cape hospital.
While enroute to Barnstable Municipal Airport the ambulance was diverted to Cape Cod Hospital where Butilier was pronounced dead.
The crash is under investigation by the Harwich Police Traffic Unit and the Cape Cod Regional Crash Reconstruction Team.
