Latanowich Indicted

A Barnstable County Grand Jury, which has been hearing evidence in the murder of Yarmouth Police K-9 Sgt. Sean Gannon, has returned indictments against his accused killer, Thomas Lantanowich.
Sgt. Gannon was shot and killed on April 12th, and his K-9 partner Nero seriously injured, while attempting to serve a warrant on Lantanowich at a home in Marstons Mills.
Lantanowich has been indicted on a string of offenses including murder, aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm without a license, subsequent offense, mistreating a police dog and armed career criminal.
He remains held without bail at the Barnstable County House of Correction.
