Wareham PD/Drug Bust

Following multiple citizen complaints of drug dealing in the Shangri La area of the town Wareham, police detectives began investigating 44 year old Tayon Woodley of New Bedford.
Tuesday morning, police observed Woodley and a person in a second vehicle complete a suspected drug transaction at the beach at Blissful Lane.
Detectives converged on the vehicles and arrested Woodley and 51 year old Charles Babb of East Wareham.
In Babb’s vehicle police found crack cocaine.....in Woodley’s car they located 828-dollars in cash.
After securing a search warrant, Wareham detectives raided Woodley’s New Bedford residence and found more than 24 grams of cocaine, multiple pills including Xanax and Oxycodone and drug paraphernalia plus nearly 45-hundred dollars in cash.
Woodley was charged with multiple drug offenses including trafficking Cocaine, distribution of Cocaine and conspiracy to violate the drug laws.
Babb was charged with possession of Cocaine and conspiracy to violate the drug laws.
