This is hurricane preparedness week in Massachusetts.
The goal is to emphasize the state's vulnerability to tropical storms and hurricanes and the impact on residents, homes, businesses and infrastructure.
Governor Charlie Baker says it's never too early to be prepared.
State Emergency Management Agency Director Kurt Schwartz warns that powerful storms can affect the entire state with deadly storm surge, heavy inland rainfall and flooding and destructive winds which can devastate a region.
