Wareham PD/Warrant Arrest

A Wareham Police Detective directing traffic at an accident scene on Thursday morning saw a man driving by whom he knew had an active arrest warrant.
The officer stopped 28 year old Alexander Ard of Wareham and placed him under arrest.
Ard attempted to roll up his window after he was told that he was under arrest, forcing the detective to reach into the car, unlock the door, and remove him from the vehicle.
In addition to the warrant, Ard has a suspended license and will be charged additionally with operating after suspension.
