Wareham Police made multiple arrests Monday for various incidents.
At approximately 4:45 p.m., 31-year-old Madison Snow and 54-year-old Penny Draper were arrested in the area of 166 Main Street, and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Disturbing the Peace.
At about 8:20 p.m., police were dispatched to the area of Midas Muffler for a report of a male armed with a knife who was threatening another man. Upon arrival, officers were unable to convince the man to show his hands; he was subsequently tased.
30-year-old Edward McKenzie was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, he was taken to Tobey Hospital for evaluation.
Ten minutes later, police responded to an incident involving a car striking a person and building. The driver left the scene by the time officers arrived, however the suspect arrived at Wareham Police Headquarters later on.
52-year-old Doreen Fernandes was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Leaving the Scene of Property Damage Accident, and Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury Accident. The victim was taken to Toby Hospital for treatment.
Wareham Police say these calls represented only 3 of the 139 they received on Monday.
