Dehumidifier Turn-In Days

The Cape Light Compact, the local “Mass Save” sponsor, is partnering with local appliance stores on Cape Cod to hold three dehumidifier turn-in events this month.
The events will allow residential customers on the Cape and Martha’s Vineyard the ability to receive a 30-dollar rebate per unit turned in for recycling.
Recycling your old, inefficient dehumidifier and upgrade to an energy star certified model is a simple way to beat the humidity this summer without wasting energy and money.
The first dehumidifier turn-in day is Saturday, June 9th from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. at Crane Appliance on Teaticket Highway in East Falmouth.
Additional turn-in days will be on June 16th from 10 to 2 at Crane Appliance in Orleans and June 30th, from 10 to 2, at KAM Appliances in Hyannis.
To take advantage of the program all you need to do is bring your old, still working, dehumidifier to one of the events and leave it with the staff to recycle.
You’ll receive a rebate form to mail in and in about 4 to 6 weeks you’ll receive your 30-dollar prepaid Visa card in the mail.
