Cotuit Kettleers Scam

There’s another phone scam making the rounds.
Barnstable Police are warning residents the scam involving the Cotuit Kettleers Cape Cod Baseball League team.
Police say the caller will typically ask donors to write checks which will be picked at their home.
The fundraising is not sanctioned by the Kettleer’s organization and residents are urged to not make a donation to any telephone solicitation.
The Kettleers have legitimate donation options on their website: Kettleers dot org.
