Falmouth FD/Basement Fire

Falmouth Fire/Rescue responded Sunday afternoon for a report of a building fire on Old Barnstable Road in East Falmouth. Arriving crews found smoke showing from an occupied two story home.
An attack was advanced through the front door and into the basement where firefighters encountered heavy fire conditions in the laundry room.
The blaze was quickly knocked down and there were no injuries.
While the fire is not considered suspicious, it is under investigation by the Falmouth Fire Department.
