YPD/SafetyNet Tracking Bracelets

The Rotary Club of Yarmouth has donated six SafetyNet Tracking Bracelets to the Yarmouth Police Department.
The bracelets are designed help locate people with cognitive disorders, such as Autism and Alzheimer’s, who wander away from family or caregivers.
The YPD now has radio signal receivers to begin tracking an individual from the point they were last seen and are able to pinpoint that person’s location within 5 miles.
Family members or care givers who know of an individual who could benefit from a SafetyNet Bracelet should contact the Yarmouth Police Department’s non-emergency number at 508-775-0445.
