Sandwich Selectmen Seek Public Comment
The Town of Sandwich is inviting the general public to attend the next Board of Selectmen’s meeting on Thursday, May 24th to participate in a Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) Program Listening Session.
That portion of the board’s meeting, at the Sandwich Town Hall, will begin at approximately 7:30 pm and last for about 60 minutes.
Last winter the town received a grant from the State’s Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs to become MVP-certified and as part of the process the town conducted an 8-hour Community Resilience Workshop on April 28th.
The goal of the workshop was to engage community stakeholders to facilitate the education, planning, and, ultimately, the implementation of priority adaptation actions.
Sandwich residents are urged to participate in the upcoming listening session.
