5/18/18Chatham voters returned two selectmen to their seats in Thursday’s elections.

The Cape Cod Chronicle reports that incumbent selectmen Cory Metters and Dean Nicastro kept their seats after warding off a challenge from former selectman Seth Taylor.

Final tallies showed Metters with 12- hundred and 51 votes, Nicastro with one thousand 6 and Taylor with 436.

Two other candidates, Peter Cocolis and Jamile Bassett, were seeking to fill the remainder of Amanda Love's term after she recently resigned from the board.

Cocolis, the Chairman of the Planning Board, won the seat by a vote of 967 to 577 over Bassett.

There are no questions on Chatham’s ballot this year.
