Mattapoisett Fatal

Massachusetts State Police are investigating an accident early Tuesday morning, on Route 195 Eastbound in Mattapoisett, involving a 38 year old woman from Bourne.
Police responded around 1 A.M. to a report of a single vehicle crash and found that a 2013 Toyota Camry had traveled off the left side of the roadway into the median and struck a tree.
The only occupant of the vehicle was entrapped...........she was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
The fatal crash remains under investigation with assistance from the State Police Collision Analysis Section, Crime Scene Services Section, troopers assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office and the Chief Medical Examiner.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
