Various police departments across the Cape are reporting road closures due to flooding or downed trees and wires as a result of the storm.
Harwich Police have closed off Pleasant Bay Road at Elm Drive, Queen Anne Road at Main Street, and Head of the Bay Road between the Chatham line and Pleasant Bay. Other road closures can be found the department’s Facebook page.
Meanwhile in Yarmouth, West Yarmouth Road from Route 28 to Duffy Road is closed due to multiple poles and wires coming down late last night.
Also in Brewster, police are warning their residents of high tide expecting to wash over Route 6A again later on around noontime.
Police across the Cape urge those to be cautious if they have to leave the house, however it would be safest to stay inside for today while crews continue to clean up.
