Two-Alarm Fire in Hyannis Injures Two People

An early morning, two-alarm fire in Hyannis Sunday morning injured two people.

Hyannis Fire and Rescue responded to 40 Spring Street at approximately 3:30 a.m. for a report of a fire which threatened to extend to multiple homes.

Crews arrived on scene and began battling the flames at the residence on Spring Street, however a home on Ridgewood Avenue also became involved for a brief period; a second alarm was sounded.

Two poeple at the scene were evaluated and taken to Cape Cod Hospital.

Firefighters were able to knock down the flames later on in the morning; officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
