An accident in Hyannis Saturday night injured 7 people.
The crash occurred at approximately 7 p.m. at the intersection of Iyannough Road and Phinney’s Lane.
Hyannis Fire and Rescue arrived on scene and found two vehicles were involved; rescuers began evaluating all parties.
Ambulances from Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills and Yarmouth were requested to help transport the 7 injured occupants; at least one was suffering from serious injuries.
The southbound section of Iyannough Road was closed until the scene was cleared; Barnstable Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
