Yarmouth/Harwich PD-3rd Time O.U.I.
2/8/18
Two Harwich Police Officers, in a Harwich cruiser, were returning to their town Wednesday night after bringing a prisoner to Cape Cod Hospital, when they spotted a vehicle operating erratically on Willow Street in West Yarmouth.
The officers notified Yarmouth Police that the car was crossing over center lines, operating dangerously with the potential of a head-on collision.
They stopped the vehicle and when Yarmouth officers arrived, they conducted standardized field sobriety testing on the driver, 29 year old Lauren Rademacher of Plymouth.
She was arrested, and while being booked at YPD Headquarters, it was determined that she was heavily intoxicated and had two prior O.U.I. convictions in Minnesota.
Rademacher was charged with O.U.I. liquor 3rd offense, operating negligently so as to endanger and marked lanes violation.
She was arraigned in Barnstable District Court .
