Falmouth Spa Owners Held on $50K Bail

A Fairhaven man and wife were arrested by Falmouth Police Thursday afternoon for their alleged part in running a prostitution operation out of the Ancient Chinese Wellness Spa on Waquoit Highway.
50 year old Mark Clinton was arrested for two outstanding arrest warrants. The charges included two-counts each of deriving support from prostitution, keeping a house of prostitution, and unlicensed massage/bath.
49 year old Li Zhou, was also arrested and charged with sexual conduct for a fee and conspiracy.
Falmouth Police executed a search warrant at the Ancient Chinese Wellness Spa, 460 Waquoit Highway, yesterday around 1:30 P.M. Massachusetts State Police Crime Scene Technicians assisted and collected several pieces of evidence from the business. Fairhaven Police also assisted with the investigation.
Falmouth Inspectional Services also responded and examined the property.
A similar search warrant was executed last September at the same location, which resulted in the arrest of Clinton for Sex Trafficking.
Clinton and Zhou were held on $50,000 bail and will be arraigned Friday morning.
