Mashpee Murder/Arrests
2/7/18
Two people have been arrested and charged with the murder of 64 year old Mashpee resident Raymond Perry in early December.
Perry had been reported missing from his 37 Riverside Road home by his family on December first, although the reporting party said he had not been seen since Sunday, November 26th.
His body was discovered a week before Christmas in a remote wooded area near the Carver town line.
The medical examiner determined that Perry died of blunt force trauma to the head in combination with cutting wounds to the neck.
In a statement Tuesday, Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe said an investigation led authorities to 37 year old Eli Perry and his 29 year old girlfriend, Paige Malone, both of whom lived at the 37 Riverside Road home in Mashpee.
They were charged with murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and illegal disposal of a human body.
They will be arraigned in Falmouth District Court.
The case remains under investigation by Mashpee Police and State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office.
