Mass. Gas Prices Up Three Cents

Gas Prices Up

2/6/18

Gasoline prices in Massachusetts are up three cents from a week ago.

Triple ‘A’s weekly survey found self-serve regular unleaded averaging 2.53 per gallon.

That price is 8 cents below the national average of 2.61.

One year ago the in-state price of regular unleaded was 34 cents lower at 2.19.

AAA Northeast Director of Public and Legislative Affairs, Mary Maguire, says “strong demand coupled with steadily rising oil prices means filling up will continue to cost consumers more this month”

Triple ‘A’s weekly survey found a range in prices for regular unleaded of 34 cents from a low of 2.45 to a high of 2.79 per gallon.
