The Yarmouth Police Department is hosting a training session open to the public on how to protect themselves from an active killer.
The Civilian Response to Active Shooter/Hostile Events program will give attendees an overview on how to identify an active killer event and how to respond to one.
The session will cover the basics on what to do if you find yourself in an active shooter or other hostile situation.
The free training takes place at YPD headquarters on Saturday, February 17th from 9 – 11 a.m.
