Wareham PD/Man Injured in Wareham

A 69 year old Middleboro man was seriously injured Thursday afternoon at the Soft Touch Car Wash at 30-83 Cranberry Highway in Wareham when he became lodged under a van as it left the wash bay.
Wareham Police say that emergency personnel responded to the scene and freed the man, who is an employee of the carwash. He was transported by Med-Flight to a Boston area hospital.
The driver of the vehicle, a 66 year old Naples, Florida resident, was unaware the accident had occurred and is not expected to face any charges.
The condition of the victim has not been released and an investigation is ongoing by the Wareham Police Department and OSHA.
