Sewer Work Continues in Chatham

Sewer work resumed in Chatham this week, and will last through May.

The Town of Chatham is working on sewer installation on various side roads, including sewer extensions in the Oyster Pond Watershed.

Work began on Wheldon Way, and will continue by the Cornfield and Village Landing. Additional roads include Spinnaker Lane, Earle’s Way and Jane’s Way.

Many of the roads are relatively short, so impact will range from several days to approximately three weeks for any given area.

Police details and signage is in place to assist motorists in reaching their destination.

Normal work hours are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, weather permitting; work may extend to 7 p.m. in special circumstances.

Additional information can be found on the Town of Chatham website.
