Yarmouth Police responded to two overdoses happening within ten minutes of each other on Friday.
A 23-year-old female was found overdosed in a car at 11:21 a.m. in the parking lot of Shaw's on Route 28. Yarmouth Fire and Rescue was able to revive her and transported her Cape Cod Hospital.
About 10 minutes later, a 33-year-old male was found overdosed in the back yard of a home on Vacation Lane; he was also taken to Cape Cod Hospital.
Both overdoses are believed to be caused by the use of heroin and fentanyl.
The Yarmouth Police Department has responded to nearly 100 overdoses so far this year.
