A crash in Harwich Saturday morning sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries.
Harwich police were notified at approximately 11:15 a.m. of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 28 and Depot Road.
Officers arrived on scene and found one vehicle collided into the driver’s side door of the other car, trapping the operator.
Fire and rescue arrived on scene and used the “Jaws of Life” to extricate the victim, who was taken to Cape Cod Hospital with serious injuries; the other driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by Harwich Police.
