Barnstable Fire and Rescue responded to an accident involving a dirt bike Saturday afternoon.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:30 p.m. at the Village Green apartment complex located at 767 Independence Drive.
Crews arrived on scene and found one person who sustained injuries; they were evaluated and taken to Cape Cod Hospital.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
