Sandwich Police responded to an accident involving a car striking a building Saturday night.
The crash happened at approximately 7 p.m. at a condominium complex on Sebastian Drive.
Officers arrived on scene and found the driver hit a gas meter located on the side of the building.
EMS arrived on location and evaluated the operator of the vehicle, who was taken to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries.
Meanwhile, officers secured the area until the gas meter was taken offline and repaired.
Sandwich Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
