A fundraiser designed to fund support services for local fisherman is taking place this Thursday in Chatham.
Fishing Partnership Support Services is hosting their first fundraising event, The Chatham Port Tour, which takes guests on trolley tours with stops at Ryder’s Cove, Oyster River, and the Chatham Fish Pier, ending with a seafood celebration at Stage Harbor.
Fishing Partnership Support Services helps commercial fisherman by providing services including free safety training courses and aiding in health coverage plans.
Tickets are $75 for the tour, or $50 for those who only want to attend the seafood celebration.
