A search warrant was executed at a Wareham residence Thursday afternoon after police followed two vehicles.
The incident occurred at approximately 3 p.m. when Wareham Police observed a vehicle operated by a female known to have a revoked driver’s license, closely followed by another vehicle driven by her boyfriend.
The two drivers traveled onto great neck road and eventually stopped at a residence on cranberry lane.
The female driver moved from the driver’s seat to the passenger seat, leaving a plastic baggie behind suspected to be cocaine.
Officers attempted to intervene, however the woman quickly grabbed the baggie and ran into the house, to which the homeowner then locked.
A search warrant was obtained and executed, during which time cocaine residue and Suboxone were located in the bathroom along with other drug paraphernalia; pills were also found in the house and in the woman’s purse.
Police arrested and charged 28-year-old Christine Quinn with various drug possession charges along with resisting arrest and operating under a suspended license.
The homeowner, 30-year-old Mario Ogletree was charged with two counts of possession of a class B substance, and resisting arrest; both were arraigned Friday in Wareham district court.
