BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Ahead of New England's match-up with the Buffalo Bills, WBZ NewsRadio's Adam Kaufman and Boston Globe NFL reporter Ben Volin previewed Sunday's game and broke down all things Patriots in the Week 4 Red Zone Report.

The Patriots usually take Buffalo for granted, and for good reason—but the Bills are 3-0 so far this year. Is this game going to be competitive?

"I don't expect a blowout, I have too much respect for the Bills' defense," Volin said. "With the Patriots struggles in the run game right now with their injuries on offense, I don't see them putting up a ton of points and blowing them out, but I do see the defense still continuing to throttle the Bills' offense. I'm not a big fan of Josh Allen, I think he's a one-route quarterback, and then he bails on the pocket and looks to run. He makes some very bad decisions."

Kaufman and Volin also talked about Antonio Brown's tumultuous 11 days with the Patriots. Volin said he wasn't surprised the Patriots pulled the plug on Brown following the revelation that he sent texts to intimidate one of his sexual assault accusers.

"The list of deeds against Antonio Brown, it was starting to pile up," Volin said. "I don't think any of them in and of themselves were enough to necessarily get rid of him, but Robert Kraft I'm sure was hearing from sponsors. He has to care about the team's image ... You have to factor in, Robert Kraft owed Antonio Brown a $5 million payment three days later on Monday, and I think he got cold feet. It was decision time, and I think he decided 'I don't want to pay this guy, he's hurting our brand a little bit,' and maybe the Patriots started hearing from their sponsors."

They also discussed whether or not the Patriots defense is as good as everyone seems to believe, the injuries sustained by Julian Edelman and James Develin and how they will change things for the team, if there's any chance for a Patriots-Brown reunion, and if Bill Belichick will ever speak about the controversial wide receiver.
