Celtics GM Danny Ainge Suffers Mild Heart Attack

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Celtics General Manager Danny Ainge had a mild heart attack, the team said in a release Thursday morning.

It happened on Tuesday night in Milwaukee, where the C's were facing the Bucks.

"He received immediate medical attention and is expected to make a full recovery," the release read. "He will return to Boston shortly."

Ainge's son Austin, who also works in the Celtics' front office, made this statement on Twitter thanking doctors and Celtics staff:
