Barnstable Releases Unofficial Municipal Election Results

The Town of Barnstable has released the unofficial results of Tuesday's municipal election.

In the contested races for Town Council, Tom Keane wins the Precinct 2 seat with 475 votes over Kristin Terkelsen with 44.

In Precinct 6, William Crocker, Jr. wins with 280 votes, Ronald Ruggiero received 171 votes. In the three-way race in Precinct 12, Barry Sheingold picked up 262 votes and Nelson Andrews, Jr. received 100, over Meaghan Mort's 98 votes.

Residents selected Andre King with 23-hundred-73 votes and Courtney M. West with 18-hundred-79 votes in the School Committee race.

Katia Regina DaCunha received 16-hundred-15 votes in the loss.

The turnout was about 9 percent.
