Bourne's Annual Town Meeting takes place this evening and it will include a 32 article warrant plus five articles on a special town meeting warrant.
Included in the meeting will be the proposed fiscal 2026 operating budget of nearly 82-million-dollars and the appropriation of almost 19-million-dollars for the new South Side fire station on Clay Pond Road.
A vote for the fire station motion would approve the capital project for design and construction and send the question to the May 20th election ballot for a debt exclusion vote.
The Town Meeting is being held at the Bourne High School Auditorium on Waterhouse Road, beginning at 7 p.m.
