Police are investigating after nearly 500 nails were found scattered across roads and driveways in Falmouth early Friday morning.
A patrolling officer discovered the nails on John Parker Road, with more later recovered on Clark Street, Old Barnstable Road, and Prince Henry Drive.
Some were even placed under car tires in driveways. In total, 478 nails were collected by police and DPW.
Authorities are asking residents with information or camera footage to contact Falmouth Police.
