A member of the Barnstable Police Department has been named as the 2025 Big Brother of the Year.
Sgt. Corey Frederickson has been matched with his Little - Brady - for nearly four years through the K9 Sgt. Sean M. Gannon Bigs with Badges Program.
Frederickson is also a member of the Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Cape Cod and the Islands' Leadership Council.
The Police Department says it's very proud of Sgt. Frederickson, adding that the award speaks volumes to the person he is and how much he cares about the community.
